NHS ends £896M Fujitsu health IT contract

Seems that Fujitsu is out of the race for UK’s National Program for IT in the NHS, along with a £896 million contract (with Services).

The London-based Fujitsu has been in negotiations to “reset” its contract with the NHS to deliver IT systems to hospitals in the south of England for more than a year and officially as of 24th May, NHS reported that they had failed to reach an agreement.

Well. Healthcare Informatics is never easy, no matter which side of the fence you are on.
