The HL7 Singapore Summit 2015 took place on 9 July 2015 (Thursday) at IHiS and the event can be considered a success by several definitions 🙂
The summit was fully subscribed (the maximum seating capacity was 140 seats) with key representatives from public hospitals, ministries as well as solution providers and systems integrators. As indicated in the agenda, the summit speakers covered key international standards that is adopted (or to be adopted) in Singapore. This includes hot topics such as the HL7 FHIR® standard, SNOMED CT and IHE Profiles for Medical Device Integration.
A quick poll conducted with the participants revealed that the topics were not only relevant but also of high interest as several participants indicated that they wanted ‘more’.
The good news is, HL7 Singapore is working with HIMSS Asia Pacific to deliver the Fast Health Interoperable Resources (FHIR®) MASTERCLASS during HIMSS AsiaPac15, on 10th September, 1 pm to 5 pm. Details of the masterclass can be found FHIR Workshop.
