Achieving Semantic Interoperability at HIMSS Digital Healthcare Week

Dear friends,

You would have heard from me (maybe many times) speak on the need to achieve Semantic Interoperability in either a HL7 Singapore discussion or in one of the several industry conferences where I delivered a presentation.

If you are attending the HIMSS Digital Healthcare Week (21-14 Oct), I would like to invite you to attend session 7 of the Physician’s IT Leadership Forum, 14:40 – 15:10 of 22nd Oct.

Dr. Frank Naeymi-Rad from Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) will be delivering a topic titled “The HIT Semantic Highway as the New Virtual Commerce”.

Personally, I am a fan of IMO’s solution (which is embedded in every major leading EMR solution, be it Allscripts or EPIC) because it allows a healthcare facility to achieve semantic interoperability with their existing EMR installations with no overhaul nor the need to setup/maintain a team of terminologies experts (saves a lot of money).

If you are unable to attend the presentation by Frank, I would suggest you visit IMO at the exhibition area, their booth number is #309.

Note: I am not an employee of IMO but I work with them on projects.
