My previous post touched on the HIMSS Digital Healthcare Week, which will be held from the 21 – 24 Oct 2013 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore and to be honest, that is not going to be the last post on HIMSS Digital Healthcare Week as I still have a few more items to share in the coming days/weeks.
However, this post is on another event, the Singapore Computer Society’s Business Continuity Management Conference 2013, which will be held on the 25 Oct 2013 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore.
If you noticed, the Business Continuity Management Conference falls immediately after HIMSS Digital Healthcare Week (yes, it will be a busy week.. followed by a busy month. I will share more on my schedule in later posts).
Themed “How Big Data is Changing BCM & Cloud“, the Business Continuity Management Conference 2013 is organised by the Business Continuity Group (BCG) of Singapore Computer Society (SCS). I will be delivering a topic on how Cloud, Big Data and Analytics plays a role in healthcare.
For the intrigued, while the topic seems to have an IT focus, it really is also about healthcare risk management and quality improvement, in addition to Standards implementation and Enterprise Architecture while optimising delivery of healthcare.
