I thought I’ll provide an update pertaining to the inaugural HL7 2.6 Certification Preparation Course + Exam conducted last week (21 Nov 2011).
The event took place with 12 candidates, comprising of representatives from Singapore’s public and private health sectors at Deloitte Analytics Institute (DAI). DAI kindly delivered an introductory lecture on the topics of analytics and engaged us in an interesting dialogue on how analytics can be used in the healthcare and life sciences.
Our invited trainer, Assoc Prof.Dr. Klaus (from Australia), ‘worked’ our candidates extremely hard but everyone agreed that it was ‘tough love’. The answer sheets for the v2.6 certification exam has been sent to HL7 Inc, I am waiting in anticipation for the results!
For the interested, HL7 Singapore will be organizing similar certification prep + exam courses in the near future so do keep a lookout.
