The proof is in the pudding!
Carestream Health has release a press release indicating the launch of a new web-based cardiology PACS that offers a single integrated platform for diagnosis, image review and reporting for echocardiography, cardiac catheterization and nuclear cardiology procedures, as well as electrocardiogram management (sounds familiar).
“Following the trend of integrating multiple modalities on a single platform for a targeted market, the new web-based cardiology PACS offers diagnosis, image review and reporting for echocardiography, cardiac catheterization and nuclear cardiology procedures as well as electrocardiogram management in a web based application.
While designed for Cardiology applications, the new PACS also seamlessly integrates with Carestream’s existing radiology PACS platform.
Features of the new cardiology PACS include structured reporting templates for all cardiovascular applications, comprehensive measurement tools for echocardiography applications, an ECG management solution that includes worklist application and the ability to integrate to multi-vendor ECG carts, catheterization reporting tools such as coronary tree annotations for stenosis, stent and graft locations that help to reduce dictation, as well web-based gated SPECT wall motion review and a 3D cine and localizer tool”.
The product will be available by the end of September.
