It was last Sep that I blogged about Intel entering the healthcare arena with patient-monitoring devices, well guess what’s new folks, GE and Intel have formed an alliance to market and develop home-based health technologies to remotely monitor seniors and patients with chronic conditions.
Thinking about it, every modern device requires a CPU so I guess Intel is making a small move (in a sense) to expand their market. According to the press release, GE will market the device for Intel (within the US) so it might work out well.
